Don't Lose Your Head.

the idea as it stands:

a strip chronicling the misadventures of Krang (TMNT) and Herman von Klempt (Hellboy, I really wanted to draw a head in a jar). they soon join up with Jambi (Pee-Wee's Playhouse) and hilarity ensues as they encounter a body-less ensemble featuring the likes of MODOK, Andross (the boss from Starfox) and other video game bosses, enchanted mirrors, floating holograms, famous statues and even a cameo pulled from the pages of ancient myth.

i've been playing around with Corel Painter. i'm digging the possibilities. i recolored this old drawing of two ridiculous Marvel villains, M.O.D.O.K. and Arnim Zola. i went a little overboard on the airbrush spatter.

Joel, this is what 'The Band at the End of the World' should have looked like. I'm going to color some more panels to play around with Corel Painter. I'll post them as they come.
