i've been playing around with Corel Painter. i'm digging the possibilities. i recolored this old drawing of two ridiculous Marvel villains, M.O.D.O.K. and Arnim Zola. i went a little overboard on the airbrush spatter.

do you like corel draw more than adobe illustrator?
ReplyDeletea lot of the people i work with swear by corel, but i can usually get my shit done in illustrator.
is corel 'draw' different than 'painter'?
ReplyDeletei feel like corel painter is more intuitive than illustrator. it makes more sense to me, i guess. all the brush options and different media are more responsive and realistic in their handling, and i don't have to worry about anchor points and vectorizing junk. i didn't spend a whole lot of time on illustrator, so its still unfamiliar territory. i'll hook you up with painter next time i see you.
